Assistant Principal

 

Hello! My name is Lissa Nichols. 

 

I am so excited to introduce myself as Bertram's Assistant Principal. The 2023-2024 school year marks the start of my 18th year in education. For the past four years I have served our campus as the Instructional Coach, and before that as a First Grade teacher.  I am looking forward to beginning the journey of Assistant Principal with you this year. 

 

As your assistant principal, I am firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence, while also cultivating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where each student feels valued and supported. Collaboration and open communication are vital to building a strong educational community. I am eager to work closely with our dedicated teachers, parents, community and of course, our exceptional students. Let's join together and continue to inspire a growth mindset, encourage creativity, and foster the intellectual and social development of each and every child. We will celebrate achievements, persevere through challenges, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
