Welcome to 4th Grade! I am thrilled to be a member of the Bertram Bulldogs and even more excited to be your 4th Grade teacher!
Although I now call this community home, I previously taught 4th and 5th Grade in Killeen ISD beginning in January 2025. Before becoming a teacher, I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for nearly 23 years.
After moving 13 times throughout my military career, I am excited to finally put down roots and become part of the Bertram community. I look forward to getting to know each of you and partnering with your families to make this an exciting, successful, and memorable school year.

Communication and Parent-Teacher Conferences
Communication between home and school is an important part of your child's success. I will post my weekly newsletter on our class webpage and email it through Skyward each week. My goal is to send the newsletter on Saturday mornings, although there may be an occasional week when it is sent on Sunday. Each newsletter will include information about upcoming units, lessons, important dates, and assessments so you'll always know what your child is learning in class.
Our first round of conferences will occur on October 12th. I will be posting and e-mailing out a SignUp Genius for you to sign up for your preferred time beginning at 8 am. I have conferences scheduled in 15 minute increments throughout the day. If the scheduled times do not work for your family, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am happy to arrange an alternate date, time, or conference format, including virtual or phone conferences, to best meet your needs.
