Flu season is here! Protect your kids from the flu.

Join us on August 29th for Parent Orientation and Title I presentation. Learn what to expect this year from your child's teacher and what it means to be a Title I school.

Next Week is full of fun! There is something happening every day! Please check out the newsletter for all the details. One important detail is that we are continuing our Bertram tradition of Water Day on May 26th. A huge thanks to Bertram Volunteer Fire Department. In order to facilitate a fun and safe event for the students, our parking lot will be closed from 8:10 am-11:45 am. School will release at 12:20 pm. We kindly ask that students not be picked up early on this day so they can participate in all the fun!

As a reminder, there is no school for students tomorrow, Friday, May 5th. Check out the newsletter for all the end-of-year events coming up.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Be sure to show your teachers some love for all they do! Also, Monday is the Yearbook deadline. At our last check, there were only 80 books left! Get yours now!

Next week, we are celebrating our amazing bus drivers and our fantastic administrative assistants, Ms. Aline and Ms. Bivian. Don't forget that Wednesday is STAAR Reading for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders. Any students who are absent on Wednesday will be able to make up their test on Thursday. We are proud of how much our students have learned this year!

The deadline for ordering a yearbook is quickly approaching! Be sure to order yours by May 1st. All orders will be online. Books will be distributed on Tuesday, May 23rd.
