What a great first week at Bertram Elementary! A huge thanks to our parents as we got used to our new car rider line. Students did a great job this week with learning routines and procedures in their classrooms. They also made many new friends. Check out the newsletter for important updates about next week! Monday is a student holiday. On Wednesday, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students will take the Math STAAR. On Thursday, 5th Grade students will take the Science STAAR. Make up testing will be held on Friday, 5/20 for any students who were absent on Wednesday or Thursday. Please be sure to order your yearbook soon! Currently, we have 89 books remaining. More details about the upcoming weeks are available in the newsletter!

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students will complete the Reading STAAR test on Thursday this week. Students who are absent will complete the assessment on Friday. Please mark your calendars that Monday, May 16th is a student holiday. Be sure to take a quick look at this week's newsletter for all of the important end of year happenings this month!
