School Cancelled 1/28/26
Good Morning. Due to ongoing hazardous conditions, Burnet CISD schools will be
closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
Overnight icing has created unsafe conditions across the district, including school driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, and some county roads, many of which remain iced over and impassable. These conditions make it unsafe for students, staff, and buses to travel to and safely access our campuses.
We will continue to closely monitor conditions and communicate any updates through our official channels. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
