I am a graduate of Sul Ross State University with an Associates Degree in Animal Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health, and an Education Certification specializing in English, English is a Second Language, and Gifted and Talented. I currently teach at Bertram Elementary and have been for 22 years. In 2020-2021, I am teaching 4th grade Science and Social Studies.

 

I have been married for 38 years to my wonderful husband Steve and we have two boys (now men) Ty and Cory. Both boys are married and Ty has 3 gorgeous kids, Carter, Kaige, and Kynzlee.

 

My goal as an educator is to provide a loving, supportive environment that fosters student individualize learning. I want kids to feel like a family. I have their best interest at heart and that they are safe in my classroom. We may stumble but will never fall!
